Hi, I am Christopher Clay, host of The Assent Podcast. Let me tell you a little bit about myself!

First off, I am a Christian. I take my faith seriously; I love God and all of his creation, especially people! God has blessed me with wonderful friends and family.

Professionally, I am an experienced chief financial officer with a history of success in healthcare. I love to build businesses, hire people, and make the world a better place. I am skilled at finance, planning, operations, management, accounting, and team building. I like to help communities grow and enjoy bringing about healthy changes.

For fun, I like to read- scripture, the church fathers, philosophy, psychology, business, finance, and a little pulp fiction too. I am always looking for an excuse to get outside too! Backpacking, snowboarding, and mountain biking are my favorite things to do. I am trying to learn how to bow hunt and fly fish with the help of some dear friends. For health, I practice Brazilian jiu-jistu, kettlebell, and running.

It is important that we encourage our communities and those with whom we have relationships to do what is meaningful, develop their skills, value each other, make the world a better place, and to be disciplined with their resources. However, if we aren’t living this way, we are being hypocritical.
